Today I am seventeen {yay! also… how is this even possible?}.
Photographs: My sixteen favorite shots from my sixteenth year.

– Seventeen. Seventeen? Seventeen!
This past year simply flew by… and oh, what a year it was! Though I anxiously suffered through a number of rather trying circumstances over the course of my sixteenth year, I am quite pleased to say that I made it.
I. Made. It. (and it could have been far worse. i am so very fortunate.)
Sixteen was also tremendously fun. I matured significantly, learned heaps, and had an absolute blast.
Now, seventeen… I am certain that you have a great deal of joy to offer. Also… please last a while, okay? I’m not altogether ready for technical adulthood (18 in a year? What?) yet.
– So! This year’s goals:
To improve my food styling skills.
To. Take. Pictures. (lots of pictures)
To become a better baker.
To strengthen my writing abilities.
To blog weekly.
Ooh, and to create more lovely soap!
– Am I wary of seventeen? Definitely. Am I ready to jump right in? Without a doubt. (p.s. I’m kicking off my seventeenth year in San Francisco this week. Major excitement!)
