my absolute favorite holiday recipes
It’s the most wonderful time of the year!
The holidays are upon us, at long last, and I simply could not be more excited. Christmas carols, and hot chocolate, and cookies, oh my! Shall we prepare for the merry and bright month ahead by compiling a lovely little list of favorite, winter-inspired recipes? I think so… and, well, I did!
Let’s begin! (pictured above: gingerbread baked doughnuts)
Classic Ginger Cookies
I just adore these sweet, sugary traditional treats! There is no ginger dessert quite as comforting as a classic, spiced cookie… and this particular recipe is utter perfection.
Gingerbread Pancakes
An ideal Christmas morning breakfast… ooh, they would be just incredible with chocolate syrup, as opposed to that of the traditional maple variety. So much yum!
Classic Hot Chocolate
Oh, aren’t the classics nearly always impossible to beat? This hot chocolate recipe is no exception. Serve with marshmallows and whipped cream, perhaps? Just a suggestion…
Traditional Cranberry Sauce
So, so delicious. And minimal ingredients are required. Hurrah for simplicity!

The frosting is pink! Pink! Major hearts.
I’ll be back soon with a new recipe!
