Hi & Happy Tuesday, Everyone!

Shall we chat about coffee (ooh, and croissants!) this afternoon?

I think yes.

As many of you are aware, I live quite close to the beach – though not directly on the beach, regrettably. I wish.

Ah, anyways, I stroll along the pier several times each month… the view is utterly stunning, and occasionally I’m fortunate enough to see these sweet ‘lil (okay, not-so-little) fellows.

My favorite place to stop for a sip following my walks?

(You guessed it!) Pier View Coffee Co.

This quaint, beachy coffee shop is the absolute cutest. From a bookshelf stacked with a delightful selection of novels to free bagel Mondays… well, they just have it all, don’t they?

Okay! Now… onto what you should order. (aka, why you’re reading this post to begin with!)

Beverages

Coffee 12 oz. $1.75 (refills $0.85) House Blend, French Roast, etc.

Hammerhead 12 oz. $2.30 Expresso & Coffee.

Cappuccino 12 oz. $2.75 Expresso Only; Dry (All Foam) or Wet (Foam & Milk).

Blended Chai 12 oz $4.00 An Iced Blended Drink.

tasty things

Plain Bagel $1.50 (cream cheese or peanut butter + $0.50) Not fabulous, but still quite good.

Croissant $1.85  Delicious! (But they’re much better in Paris, obviously.)

Pier View Coffee offers a number of other drinks, pastries, sandwiches, etc., but my family and I have yet to try them. Their soups, salads, & gelatos all sound yummy, as well.

Overall Rating:

• 7/10 or an A- (they score an extra point for excellent location.)

Oh! Also, it should be noted that my mother and I are identical-hand-twins. (Fans of Friends will get that reference.) That’s her hand in the above photograph, you see. Mine are exactly the same, albeit slightly smaller.
