Chartres, France III (& a ‘lil city guide)
An Itty Bitty Guide to Chartres, France
Where Centre-Val de Loire region of France… about an hour outside of pretty Pareee (south-west).
Main Attraction Notre Dame de Chartres, a stunning 12th century cathedral. The gardens behind it are too lovely. There’s a labyrinth!
Tourist Information Center Located quite close to the cathedral within the town. Maps and information are provided at no cost, and the guides are very-very kind (and parler anglais 😉 ).
Musée des Beaux-Arts de Chartres This cute little museum is certainly worth a visit… it is located very close to the cathedral (convenient, non?) and houses heaps of beautiful artwork.
Eglise St-Aignan &Â St-Pierre Two other architectural masterpieces worth taking a peek at.
Specialty & Gift Shops There are adorable toy stores, gift boutiques, biscuiteries, and more.
I believe there is also a stained glass museum of some sort, but I didn’t manage to visit. Sigh.
Hi-Hi Darlings!
Above, as I’m sure you noticed and – perhaps, hopefully – read, there is a teeny guide to Chartres and a continuation of the photo series on this pretty city. I haven’t much to say today… sending love, happy thoughts, and positivity to you all.Â
Bisous!

I’m utterly convinced that Chartres is just the loveliest!
Aww, it truly is! Thanks, Laura. <3
So pretty!! *_* I love your photos, I feel like they give the city a lot of charm 😀 I’ve been to France (too) many times and I thought I had seen it all, but I like this little place too! Perhaps worth a visit in the future ^^
Thanks so much, Olivia! Chartres is certainly worth a visit… it’s small, but LOVELY. <3 xo
Oh those pops of colour! I would absolutely love to visit someday. (The pictures are beautiful, as always.)
Oh, thank you, Laura! If you’re ever in Paris I highly recommend taking a few hours out of your day and popping over to this adorable place. Sending hearts! <3
