Polaroids of Carrie Anne
Happy, happy Saturday to everyone! Ça va ?
I have just about begun the countdown to the countdown of the final days of this autumn semester… does this make sense, even? This coming Monday marks the beginning of week nine of fifteen. Papers to write, photographs to print. I’ve got this. And then… Christmas holidays! I’ll be returning to California for a few weeks to cuddle my shih-tzu babies and celebrate the most wonderful time of the year with my family. Though I’m looking forward to all the fun we’ll have, the thought of leaving Paris, even for a short while, saddens me. There is truly nowhere else like it.
Speaking of Paris, and therefore all things French… I photographed lovely Carrie Anne several weeks ago and am just delighted to share the polaroid images from the shoot here today. Carrie Anne has been an endless source of inspiration to me for months and months and months now, and photographing her is always the very best. If you’ve yet to sign up for her weekly digital immersion guides, you are totally missing out. (She hasn’t asked me to promote them; they’re seriously amazing).
Now! For a few ‘lil links to things I’ve loved online this week:
- Lady Gaga’s Carpool Karaoke, though. Fudge, her voice is amazing… like, she’s not lip-syncing as previous artists have. OMG.
- Ahhh, chocolate sugar cookies!
- This is fascinating… certainly worth a watch if you’re interested in art history and/or the role of women within society.
- Need.
- I really like this photo. All of the ones in that gallery, actually.
‘Tis all for today, friends. Have the most beautiful weekend!
xoxo,
Abby ♥
So gorgeous, this reminds me of a vintage French photo shoot!
Thanks so much, Laura! Vintage + French = the best! <3
ALSO NEED
and I love how these pics look like something you found in a box from the like 60’s or 70’s, so cool!
Awwww, thanks, Kayle! XO
These polaroids came out great. Where do you find your polaroid film these days? I’ve thought about maybe getting a modern plolaroid so that I can take instant photographs, but I love the classic polaroid look.
Thanks, Yelle! I’m actually using a Fujifilm Instax Wide Camera… not technically a polaroid, but much less expensive and the exposures are fantastic!
Love the the styling of her outfit and the candid vibes of these polaroids!! -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey’s
Thanks so much, girl! xo
