saving for a (few) sunny day(s)…
Salut, my sweet friends! Ooh, and happy, happy Saturday!
I’m spending the day home in my cute, cozy ‘lil Parisian apartment. I ought to snap a few polaroids of it to share with you sometime… when I have the time. This morn I grocery shopped for a bit, walking past the Tour Eiffel whilst on my way, and I somehow managed to write the first of ten pages for my Street Culture class final paper. All in all, a fairly productive day and it’s only just past three now. My fairy lights are twinkling, my space heater is warming up the nearly-wintry air, and I’m wearing a very favorite pale pink and white fuzzy pajamas of mine (with fluffy striped socks!). It’s time to chat the above outfit… and my lovely vacation fund jar.
So, so, so. This look is from this past August… ’twas a boiling hot summer day, and the adorable flowery dress from Forever 21 was just the perfect thing for it. It actually also happens to be the dress I wore when I moved into my apartment several weeks prior to this shoot, so I think it may very well have a special place in my heart forever and ever. I usually avoid navy blue, as I prefer black, but something about the collar and cut of this piece is so special; I had to have it. The vacation fund jar is a Modcloth find I heart so much. It currently serves as apartment decor pour moi, and has become the best-est home for all those 1 and 2 cent coins… the teeny-tiny annoying ones machines never ever take and which are constantly falling from your wallet and/or purse. They’re now helping me save up for a fun ‘lil trip, or perhaps a new camera… we shall see.
I’ll be back soon! Sending hearts to you all,
♥ ♥ ♥
