happy wednesday, friends!

Hi-hi, everyone. I hope you’re all well. 🙂

Guess-what-guess-what? There are just two days until mah birthday, and my father is flying into Paris tomorrow morning for a ‘lil visit and I am so happy and so excited. It is going to be such a wonderful weekend.

…Of course, finals are swiftly approaching and I have quite a bit of work to complete over the course of the next two to three weeks. It’ll fly by, though, as the entirety of the semester thus far has, really.

Above are polaroids I shot of my lovely friend Sasha several weeks ago. Photographing a fellow photographer (well, I suppose we’re merely photo students at this point) is always just slightly nerve-wracking, but I’ve come to appreciate how different and truly unique each photographer’s style and aesthetic is. Yes… as my professors love to remind us, we are ‘too young’ to have styles of our own, but I personally believe we, as individuals, are present in every image we make and this signature mark of ours will never leave us, though it may alter and evolve over time. Okay. Enough of my rambles.

I hope you love the pictures. Oh, and Happy (almost) Thanksgiving to my American friends, of course!

Sending hearts,

Abby
