…at the louvre!

Hi-hi, my dear friends. Ça va ?

I’ve been a bit under the weather (and that’s a bit of an understatement…) since arriving back from Berlin. Fortunately, after three complete days of rest, I’m beginning to feel like myself again. Hopefully tomorrow I’ll awake happy and healthy and ready for a beautiful, new day.

Above are the polaroid images I shot of my friends Nina and Aish at the Louvre Pyramids several weeks ago. It was quite a grey, dreary day, but I rather like how the images turned out.

Also: thank you so, so much for all the birthday wishes, everyone! You are the sweetest humans, and I cannot wait to share 19 with you.

Ooh, ooh, and pictures from Berlin are coming soooon…!

xoxo,

Abby

  3. Hi Abby –

Your polaroids are so beautiful! Do you have any tips to share on taking polaroids?

    xo Audrey

    • Hi Audrey!

Aww, thank you; you are so sweet! I technically take ‘faux-polaroids’ using a Fujifilm Instax Wide Camera (because real polaroid cameras + film be expensive and aren’t produced anymore). As far as tips are concerned… shoot what you love, and practice, practice, practice. Understand how exposures work, and how light will affect (effect?) your final images.

Hmmm, maybe one day I’ll do a post on this. Merci for the inspiration.

      xx Abby
