Berlin in Late-November…

Is quite, quite freezing. And very, very pretty, I should add. 😉

My father and I arrived in Berlin on the evening of my birthday, then proceeded to make our way to our hotel, which was a mere two-minute walk from Potsdamer Platz, a lovely public square in Berlin’s center not far from the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag, and the totally gorgeous (in all it’s autumnal/wintry glory) Tiergarten. Though I caught the ickiest cold on the final day of our mini-trip, I still managed to have an excellent time – particularly before the bug hit, but as it turns out, Christmas markets are super-duper fun even when you’re sick. I suppose that’s a bit obvious, no?

So! Here are the polaroid images I shot whilst there. Digital photographs, along with a recap of the entirety of my weekend, are soon to follow. For now… I hope you heart these pictures, everyone!

Sending love,

Abby

  1. Oh gosh, I still haven’t gone through all my Italy and Germany pictures! I really do wish I were able to visit Germany during Christmastime! Love the polaroid of the basket of pretzels 😀 -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey’s

    • I CANNOT. WAIT. to see your Italy and Germany pics, Audrey! And ohhh, it was so lovely during late-November. I’d love to be in Munich during the holidays someday. And thanks, pretzels are SO photogenic haha. <3 xo

You make Berlin look like the prettiest vintage postcards.

  4. There is a cozy feel to these photographs, even though, I know how cold a winters day can be! I used to live in a Northern Canadian town which saw very, very cold temperatures during December and I am so grateful to have moved from it because I can’t handle the cold for too long. I most definitely come alive in the spring. 😛

You always capture photographs in such a pure way – it feels like I am right there beside you noticing the little things others might take for granted.
