remembering the final days of autumn…
Hi-hi friends, and happy (hopefully?) Monday to you all!
I am currently curled up on my couch, beneath layers of cozy throw blankets, sporting a set of new red Christmas-y pajamas and soft, thick black socks. While this may sound quite nice written out as such, the less lovely truth is that my dear space heater broke down yesterday afternoon and I’ve been crazy-freezing since, spooning down heaps of soup and porridge in the hopes of warming myself up. It is finals week and I just haven’t the time to venture out on a space-heater-purchasing expedition. Especially in this cold, haha? Ironic? Maybe.
Anyways, it has been a while – over a month, actually! – since I last shared an ouftit of mine in this ‘lil space – so here we go! My friend Terry was visiting from New York several weeks ago, and we spent a day together shooting photos and strolling around the Champ de Mars. Winter had yet to really hit at this point, and though it was certainly cold the vibrant autumn leaves were just beginning to fall. Though you can’t tell from these images, they were still bright and plentiful.
Oooh, and let’s chat about what I’m wearing, shall we? The vintage floral, collared button down is a piece I adore, adore, adore. It is from one of my very favorite clothing shops in the Marais, Vintage Désir, and cost me only between five and ten euros, I believe. The dress is from Modcloth (Retro On Set Dress)- I’m sure you’re all aware of my obsession with them by now. I purchased it this past summer, whilst in California. It was slightly big, but with a few alterations from a tailor became utterly perfect pour moi.
Wishing you all the happiest of weeks… seven days from now I’ll be back in Cali!
