a birthday in berlin…

Hi-hi, friends! Can you believe today is the eighth of January? In a mere four days I’ll be departing from my cozy home in California to Paris and my pretty-pretty apartment. The holiday season always seems to pass far, far too quickly. Wasn’t it just Christmas?

Anyways, let’s chat Berlin, shall we? As you may know, my father and I traveled to Berlin for my nineteenth birthday several weeks ago. It was absolutely freezing… therefore I, of course, caught a (seriously awful) cold within 48 hours of our arrival. The following week of mine, spent in Paris, was utterly miserable – but it was more than worth it for the time I was able to spend exploring a new city with my dad. And for the pictures! I took heaps of pictures!

As we were only there for two full days (one of which I spent sniffling nonstop), we weren’t quite able to see as much as we’d have liked to. The main attractions, however, were all stunning… the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag, Checkpoint Charlie, etc…

That’s all for today, lovelies. Yesterday afternoon I picked up my developed analog photographs from Berlin, as well, and intend to share them shortly!

Sending Hearts,

Abby

berlin en l’hiver

Bonjour, mes amis !

Abby

  1. Ooh I’ve been looking forward to seeing your pictures from Berlin! I finished drafting my Berlin post earlier this winter break, but it probably won’t be published until February because there are so many posts I got behind on but then caught up again on and queued up! You made good with your 48 hours! -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey’s
