Hi-Hi, Everyone! How are you?

I mentioned in my recent Venice post that whilst there, I made sure to briefly visit three of Venice’s surrounding islands… Murano, Burano, and Torcello. My favorite of the three? (guess, guess, guess?) Burano, of course. I mean… those colors, though.😍 Upon disembarking from the boat, I was immediately convinced I had died and gone to heaven… despite the heat, I had the most wonderful time and someday I’ll be returning to spend days and days in this adorable little paradise. Ooh, and also: shoutout to the fabulous random-human-stranger whom agreed to snap a few photographs of me! I apologize for the difficulties you had attempting to focus my digital camera and am endlessly grateful. Side note in regards to travelling alone: like, 80% of the time you spend outside of your hotel you’ll be lowkey scouting out non-threatening looking people to take pictures of you in front of pretty things. This is a fact.

I’ll be back soon, friends! Have the loveliest of evenings,

Abby

Abby

  1. haha I always get so nervous about asking strangers to take photos for me, but you gotta do what you gotta do! Loving the colours 🙂 -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey’s

    • Hahah, it’s nerve-wracking! The first time I asked a couple who had just asked another girl to take their photo, the second time I asked a girl around my age with her friend, and the third time I asked another girl around my age. Each time I was initially terrified and didn’t want to bother them, but I knew I would regret not having the photos of me! And I’m asked often enough (twice while in Italy, often in Paris) to take photos of people so I figure it all evens out, if they are annoyed. 😉

  2. omigosh seriously those colors!!!
