Brigette & Ferdinand

So, yeah. I still (occasionally) shoot digitally. These photos of my Briggy and her boyfriend Ferdinand be-ith the proof!

That being said, I still much prefer film photography… there’s a vulnerable, authentic aspect to it that I can’t help but be drawn to. For professional work, however, digital photography is far more practical, not to mention less expensive… I therefore figured it certainly couldn’t hurt to build up my couples portfolio a ‘lil bit. Oh, and I’ve wanted to shoot Brig and Ferdinand for, like, ages anyway… so a few weeks ago we trekked our way up to Parc Monceau for a mini photoshoot. The weather wasn’t quite as spring-y or sunny as I’d hoped, but it wasn’t terrible, either. We managed to have a fun time, me being the productive third-wheel photographer friend and all.

Um, I suppose that’s pretty much all I have to say at the moment. I haven’t much else to report… yesterday morning I returned home from a week in Thailand and I’ll be sharing more about all dat very soon. Guys. I shot 29 rolls of film. Twenty-nine. What. the. fuck. I clearly need help.

Anyway. I hope you like these pictures. Constructive criticism is always welcome! I’m not quite sure how I feel about the colors… let me know if there’s anything I could improve. Digital photography can be a real bitch.

xoxo

  1. They cute!! Looking forward to your Thailand pics! 29 rolls of film omg, impressive. I bought a pack of ten disposable cameras off Amazon a few years ago and I still have yet to make my way through my first disposable camera heh… I always either forget to bring it out with me, or I bring it out and then forget to use it! -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey’s

    • OMG, Audrey!!! YOU HAVE TO USE THEM!!!! You have such a great photographic eye, I just know the shots you’d take would be incredible. Disposable cameras really do give the coolest effects. Please use! Or send them to me haha. 😉
