I’m back! I’m alive!

Hi everyone! Wishing you all a late Merry Christmas and an early Happy New Year!

It’s been a while since I last popped in and I’ve been absolutely terrible at keeping up with blogs as of late and responding to comments. But I have fantastic excuses, so it’s okay, right? 😉 The first trimester of school wrapped up exactly one week ago and I spent Christmas day with a friend and a friend of his (all of us not-going-home-for-Christmas-people gotta stick together, right?) watching Christmas films (Miracle on 34th Street, Love Actually, which I’d never seen, and Home Alone). On Christmas evening my family arrived and the following morning we departed from Paris to pass a week in Normandy visiting a few neat historic and beautiful sights. My dad is kinda-totally obsessed with WWII history so we of course had to see the places featured in today’s post… the Longues-sur-Mer battery, Omaha Beach, and the Colleville American cemetery.

And I think that’s about it for the moment… I shot heaps of film photographs of these spots as well and cannot. wait. to have them developed next week and share them with you all.

I’ll be back soon! xoxo,

Abby

Abby
